Eugenio Corini may not be able to count on Mario Balotelli just yet, but the Brescia boss sees the striker with ‘plenty of motivation’.
Brescia are back in Serie A after an eight-year absence, althoughthey open the new season against Cagliari on Sundaywithout six first-team players, including Balotelli.
“Of course we’d have liked to start off in Serie A differently,” Corini said at a Press conference.
“We’re paying a bit for extra time in the Coppa Italia, but we must be able to face these difficulties.
“We have great enthusiasm and we’ll stick with our style of play, even if we have several absences, although we could make slight tactical changes.
“We know we’ll have to suffer, not only at Cagliari but also throughout the season.”
“Balotelli has plenty of motivation. Now we must and want to bring some normality to the situation.”
