Candreva: 'Disappointed and angry'

Antonio Candreva said Inter are “disappointed and angry” attheir 2-2 draw with Parma. “We should’ve been more intelligent.”

The Nerazzurri had taken the lead with Candreva only to see Yann Karamoh and Gervinho turn it around within seven minutes.

Romelu Lukaku eventually got the equaliser after Candreva sprung the offside trap.

“We drew a game that we wanted to win,” Candreva told Inter TV.

“It was a bad first half performance, we did better after the break, but are left with regrets that we didn’t take all three points. We are disappointed and angry at the way it went.

“Playing in the Champions League midweek should not be an alibi. We had taken the lead, so at that moment we should’ve been more intelligent and control the game.

“From tomorrow, we will start preparing for Brescia, which like all Serie A games, will be complicated. We’ve got to get our energy back, both physical and mental.”
