Thesuspension of sporting eventsdue to the Coronavirus outbreak has now spread to other Italian regions, including Emilia-Romagna and Liguria, until the night of March 1.
The shutdown also affects any public events, including schools and universities.
There have now been three victims of the highly-contagious respiratory disease in Italy, as a third died in the Lombardy region on Sunday, with over 150 cases diagnosed.
Orders had already come down from the Prime Minister and Minister for Sport that all sporting events would be suspended for Sunday February 23 in the Lombardy and Veneto regions.
This evening, the suspension order spread to Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna all the way to midnight on March 1, including schools, sporting events, universities, nurseries and museums.
On Sunday night, the Liguria and Friuli regions made the same order, again to midnight on March 1.
The only game set for the Liguria region during that period is Serie B fixture Entella-Crotone on Friday February 28.
