Milan are set to announce the arrival of Flamengo defender Leo Duarte over the next 24-48 hours in a deal worth €11m.
Reports from Brazil via Globoesporte and others are all confident the agreements are in place and every detail decided.
They are now waiting only for the paperwork to be completed before the 23-year-old flies out for a medical.
It’ll be a transfer fee worth €10m with another €1m in bonuses.
Duarte did not take part in today’s training session with Flamengo and will miss tomorrow’s game against Botafogo.
Negotiations have reportedly been going for some time, but were kept very much under the radar, his name only emerging on Friday.
Duarte is due to sign a five-year contract worth €1.2m per season net.
