Stefano Sensi’s injury woes continue after he was ruled out of Inter’s Serie A match with Verona tomorrow.
The midfielder had been sidelined for several weeks with a muscle strain but returned in the 3-2 Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
Nonetheless, Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset both report the 24-year-old is still struggling with the muscular problem and will be left alone during the next couple to weeks to make a full recovery.
Therefore, he has been left out of the Italy squad for their final two Euro 2020 qualifiers and is set to miss the Nerazzurri’s visit of Verona on Saturday.
Sensi had exploded on to the scene, scoring three goals and providing four assists before injury struck him down at the beginning of October.
