Newly-promoted Lecce are on the verge of signing Steaua Bucharest defender Romario Benzar and PAOK midfielder Yevhen Shakhov.
According to Sportitalia, the deals are practically done for the Salentini, who earned promotion from Serie B last month.
Benzar is a 27-year-old Romania international who plays primarily on the right side of defence or midfield.
He impressed this season with seven assists in 36 competitive appearances for the club.
As for Shakhov, the 28-year-old Ukrainian will be a free agent when his contract with PAOK Salonika expires next week.
