The big question is if Edin Dzeko will be fit to start for Roma tonight, whilst Inter might have to go with Borja Valero in the middle of the park.
Antonio Conte looks set to continue with his 3-5-2 formation and will most likely call on veteran Valero as Roberto Gagliardini is injured.
On the treatment table, Gagliardini is joined by two of his midfield colleagues in Nicolò Barella and Stefano Sensi.
One option could be to move Antonio Candreva into the centre. Danilo D’Ambrosio could also be shifted further afield because of his versatility, but it’s expected that he will push Diego Godin out of the back three.
Up front, there are no questions raised regarding the presence of both Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.
Meanwhile, Dzeko has been included in the Roma squad but was in bed with a fever of almost 38 last night.
This morning, Sky Sport Italia claims things are looking up for the Bosnia international, whilst the Corriere dello Sport claims he won’t make it.
The Giallorossi will have Nicolò Zaniolo back from suspension and both Diego Perotti and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are back at Paulo Fonseca’s disposal.
One of the two might start on the left wing behind a lone striker in Fonseca’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
Justin Kluivert, on the other hand, is out and will miss the match through injury.
