Probable line-ups: Juventus-Atletico Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo should be back for Juventus when they welcome Atletico Madrid in the Champions League tonight, pushing Paulo Dybala out of the side.

It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium at 20.00 GMT.

The Portuguese superstar has all eyes on him after a turbulent period, but he returned from international break with four goals in two games.

He was left out against Atalanta, but should be back when his old rivals travel from Madrid to Turin.

Maurizio Sarri is adamant that the three forwards can’t play together, which could mean that Dybala is rested, as Gonzalo Higuain is on top form after bagging a brace in Bergamo last weekend.

Wojciech Szczesny is expected between the sticks, behind Leonardo Bonucci and Matthijs de Ligt, who’s looking to build on his revival after a critical start to the season.

De Ligt dislocated his shoulder against Atalanta, but was able to play on and received treatment.

It’s expected that Rodrigo Bentancur will get the nod next to Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi in the middle, whilst Juan Cuadrado and Mattia De Sciglio should again be the full-backs.

Aaron Ramsey came off the bench against Atalanta, but he may well continue to play behind the strikers in a 4-3-1-2 formation, seeing as the Welsh midfielder is going through a period of consistency in his performances.

Atletico Madrid are coming to Turin to revenge their last 16 defeat from last season and the superstar Joao Felix is giving coach Diego Simeone some headaches before the all-important fixture at the Allianz Stadium.

The young star has been struggling with an ankle injury, but should be able to return on Tuesday night – forming a partnership with Alvaro Morata up front. Saul Niguez should be back and the same goes for Thomas Partey – even if Angel Correa has played the last seven games in his absence.

Former Tottenham star Kieran Trippier is expected to appear at right-back, whilst Renan Lodi will get the nod on the left when Simeone is expected to turn up with an old fashioned 4-4-2 in Turin.
