Simone Inzaghi could leave Joaquin Correa on the bench against Ligue 1 side Rennes in Lazio’s decisive Europa League match.
The coach would most likely play both Felipe Caicedo and Ciro Immobile up front in his preferred 3-5-2 and will be looking to do everything he can in a last attempt to get over the line.
Lazio need a little help from Celtic, but Inzaghi’s men will have to get the three points against a French side with only one point from five games. He could give place for Joaquin Correa on the bench but will have Marco Paolo in the middle to direct the play with Danilo Cataldi and Luis Alberto with him.
Jony and Manuel Lazzari will operate on the flanks and the trio in front of Proto will most likely consist of Bastos, Denis Vavro and Francesco Acerbi.
Rennes have nothing to play for but pride and will most likely rest Mbaye Niang, who scored a brace during their last Ligue 1 match against Angers. They will come out in a traditional 4-4-2 but will most likely side a young XI.
We expect to see them include players like 18-year-old Lucas Da Cunha, who made his debut off the bench against Celtic in the same tournament.
