Paris Saint-Germain are on the verge of completing the transfer for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt, claim Sky Sport Italia, beating Barcelona and Juventus.
Manchester United had already been rejected and the Dutch starlet said he wanted to play regularly to aid his development.
The price-tag set by Ajax is in the region of €80m, so Barcelona and Juventus would have to sell before investing that sum.
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, agent Mino Raiola is in advanced negotiations with PSG and should complete the deal over the next couple of days.
It could well be announced at the same time as the arrival of director of sport Leonardo, who left Milan by mutual consent this month.
This is a return to Paris Saint-Germain for Leonardo and he intends to make a splash.
