Real Madrid will reportedly return for Fabian Ruiz, as they hope the situation might have changed for the Spain international at Napoli.
The reports about Real Madrid looking at Fabian Ruiz won’t go away and now Cadera SER is claiming that the negotiations didn’t end with the failed move last summer. Then Los Blancos conceded that the value set by Napoli proved too costly, but they could be back for more this winter.
The Partenopei shall according to the report have asked for between €80m and €90m, but Real still haven’t given up on bringing the Spanish youngster back to his native league.
Fabian moved from Real Betis to Napoli in 2018 for 30m and the 23-year-old has proved himself at in Italy’s top division, playing 39 Serie A games so far, scoring six times in the process.
Cadera SER claims that Fabian was not willing to force a move because “he was in tune” with coach Carlo Ancelotti, and “because he didn’t want to leave Italy after only one season.”
As Ancelotti’s future is unclear at the San Paolo, Real are following the situation closely, and are “trying to convince the player not to renew his contract” tying him to Napoli until 2023.
But the price tag might not have changed much, as Fabian continues to perform both for his club and nation.
