Roma finally appear to be closing in on a deal for Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout, according to reports.
Sky Sport Italia claims Veretout’s agent Mario Giuffredi met Roma officials on Tuesday afternoon with the intention of reaching an agreement.
That was followed by Il Tempo writing the Giallorossi were ‘close’ to a deal with Fiorentina.
The Viola have been demanding €25m for the Frenchman but, as per the newspaper, they could take around €20m from the Lupi.
Milan had also been linked with the 26-year-old, but they have so far only been prepared to offer cash plus Lucas Biglia, who does not interest the Tuscan side.
