Jordan Veretout will have his Roma medical tomorrow after Fiorentina agreed a loan with obligation to buy for €17m plus €2m in bonuses.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Il Tempo and others, the two clubs worked out the final details this evening.
It’ll be a one-year loan at a cost of €1m, with obligation to buy at the end of the season for another €16m.
There are also another €2m in various add-ons and bonuses.
Milan and Napoli had also been interested in the French midfielder, but after weeks of tense negotiations, it looks as if Roma have finally secured a deal.
The 26-year-old had joined Fiorentina from Aston Villa for €7m in the summer of 2017.
Over two seasons, Veretout scored 15 goals with six assists in 75 competitive games for the Viola.
