Andre Silva has expressed his delight at returning to Milan for preseason. “I’m happy to be back.”
Silva was one of Milan’s big-money signings in the summer of 2017, arriving from Porto in a €38m deal, but the striker scored just two Serie A goals in his first season.
A loan spell to Sevilla followed last term, but they did not take up their €35m option to buy and the 23-year-old looks to have been given a second chance by the Rossoneri.
“I feel very good, I’m happy to be back at Milanello and meet many of my teammates,” he told Milan TV.
“I want to meet the Coach and talk about what this season will be like.”
