Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla will ‘cost more than €25m’ this summer, warns director Tony D’Amico.
The 20-year-old Albania international has been a revelation for Verona in his debut Serie A season, with one goal in 18 games.
He has been heavily linked with clubs including Napoli, Inter, Chelsea, Fiorentina, Manchester United, RB Leipzig, PSG, Everton, Lazio, Tottenham Hotspur and Eintracht Frankfurt for a €25m price-tag.
“His value is more than that,” Verona director of sport D’Amico told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are talking about a great defender who is having an extraordinary season, especially for his age. He will have a lot of offers on the table, but it’s too early to talk about figures now.
“It’s an honour for us that we developed this player through our youth academy.”
